How To Request A Transcript


Southeastern Louisiana University uses Transcripts on Demand TM by Scrip-Safe International as its trusted agent for processing online transcript requests. This process is completely secure.  Your browser needs to be at a minimum level. 


The first time you use this service you will set up your account with Transcripts on Demand TM.  You will provide your current/former names, address, student ID, and other information. You will be able to log in to your account and update your information whenever you need.


Because Federal Law requires your signature in order to release your academic records, you will be required to complete a Consent Form and send it to Scrip-Safe by fax, mail or image upload. This Consent Form is created as part of the account set-up process and your signed copy will remain on file with Scrip-Safe to cover your future Southeastern Louisiana University transcript requests through Transcripts on Demand TM.


You will pay for your transcript via credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Transcripts on Demand TM uses the most current security available to protect your credit card and personal information.


You can check the status of your transcript request at any time by logging on to Transcripts on Demand TM and clicking on the “Review Past Orders” tab. You will also receive email notification of your order status.

or  Official transcripts may still be ordered via fax, mail, or in person:


  • You may order official transcripts by submitting the online Transcript Request Form  either by fax, mail or in person.

  • You may ask for up to three copies of your transcript per request.

  • Processing time is 7-10 working days after receipt of your request.

  • Transcript requests may not be ordered by telephone or email.

There is no charge when you fax or mail a Transcript Request Form  or submit a written, signed request to the Office of Records and Registration with the following information:


  • Student's full name (and all prior names used),
  • Student's ID,
  • Student's full address and phone number,
  • Student's beginning and ending dates of attendance,
  • Full address of agency, college, or individual to whom transcripts are to be sent,
  • The number transcript copies requested (limit 3 per request),
  • Student's signature. This is authorization to release the records to the designee.


The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act requires the school to have a signed and dated written release before issuing transcripts.
